No-exam life insurance

Carriers' criteria for accelerated review, the process, and your options if you don't qualify.

Most underwriters now offer accelerated review: within specified age bands and amounts, they underwrite based on your form, pharmacy records, driving records and comparable data without a medical exam. Approvals sometimes happen immediately. Each quote details whether an exam is needed, might be needed, or isn't necessary for that specific product.

What it changes

Streamlined approval doesn't bypass review. Your statements go through verification checks, and policies sold based on inaccurate statements can be rescinded in the first twenty-four months. The carrier might still order an exam or lab if information triggers additional questions; you're free to back out at that stage.

Who tends to qualify

Generally candidates younger than around sixty purchasing amounts within the carrier's streamlined approval cap, without significant past medical issues and no cigarette or vaping use over the previous year. Some carriers will accept current test results from a recent physical rather than requiring a new exam.

An exam usually requires thirty to forty minutes with a medical technician visiting your home or workplace in the Morgan Hill area, at no charge. Better health results often raise your rate category, so testing can actually work in your favor.
